Many organizations who support wildlife have taken part in making an attempt to protect the endangered species of great white sharks. Great white sharks are not under endangered species protection as the population is unknown. Some environmental groups have filed petitions for the great white shark to be under endangered species protection while other organizations have done research by tagging sharks or have promoted protection.

The White Shark Trust organization promotes protection measures for sharks. They also educate the public on endangered sharks in the world including the great white shark. It is important for the public to know what is happening with endangered species so that we can team up and try to help the cause or put a stop to what we are doing wrong.
Monterey Bay Aquarium is an aquarium located in California filled with marine animals like sea otters, penguins, sharks, jellyfish and more. Monterey Bay Aquarium tags sharks to study their migration, diets, habitats and populations. They also protect and research other marine species.
